Job summary

Akkodis Australia is seeking a Senior Integration Engineer to support the successful integration and testing of complex Air Traffic Management systems. The role centers on the OneSKY program delivering a Civil Military ATM system for Australia.

You will define, implement and support integration activities across multiple platforms, ensuring systems and subsystems are integrated on time and to spec. The position requires strong scripting and DevOps skills, plus NV1 clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience integrating complex software-centric real-time systems.
• Experience troubleshooting virtualization platforms, operating systems and client/server environments.
• Proficiency with UNIX/Linux, Windows and VMWare environments.
• Scripting in Python, Shell and XML.
• Experience with DevOps and automation tools such as Ansible and Jenkins.
• Configuration management using Git, Bitbucket and Jira.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts including LDAP, AD and PKI.
• Network protocols including SNMP, UDP, TCP and IP; debugging with Wireshark.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams across locations and obtain NV1 clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct integration and testing of incremental software releases across systems.
• Set up and manage environments to support integration, testing, validation and acceptance.
• Define and support test activities across regression, interface and simulation environments.
• Analyse system issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with Systems, Subsystem and Infrastructure teams to align with design.
• Produce integration documentation including System Integration Test Documentation.
• Support and review technical documentation by junior integrators.
• Develop scripts to automate system administration tasks.
• Manage test and measurement tools for performance and load assessment.
• Provide technical support to junior integrators and verification teams.
• Assist Technical Leads with risk identification and delivery improvements.
• Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement in integration practices.
