Job summary

HCF Australia invites applications for a role within Integration Services to design, develop and manage a standardised integration layer across core IT systems and partner platforms. You will engage with business users and analysts to determine requirements, build scalable integration solutions, and ensure data security and high availability.

We seek a candidate with a Bachelor’s in IT and at least two years’ experience in integration development, with strong API design skills and hands-on work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field and relevant discipline.
• At least two years’ experience developing integration applications or services with OO programming.
• Strong API design and development capability (Java, JavaScript, PHP, C#, Python, XML/SQL, JSON, REST, OpenAPI).
• Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, TIBCO, IBM, Oracle, Azure Integration Services, AWS.
• Experience assessing integrations between CRM, ERP, payroll, HR/EDRMS systems.
• CI/CD workflows with Jenkins, Azure DevOps or TFS.
• Experience with Service Fabric, WCF, Swagger, RAML and OpenAPI.
• CI/CD for Java apps using Jenkins and Maven/Ant; full SDLC exposure.
• Experience in Agile delivery (Scrum preferred).
• Ability to document interfaces with clear specs and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Conducts analysis to determine system requirements and impacts for new/enhanced apps.
• Engages with business users and analysts to understand needs for projects.
• Designs and codes quality programs aligned with requirements and architecture.
• Develops and implements integration solutions with RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations.
• Streamlines integrated processes across multiple software apps.
• Implements data security policies to protect confidentiality and integrity.
• Performs unit testing and supports system testing and deployment.
• Provides troubleshooting and emergency support to ensure high availability.
• Contributes to programming practices and maintains high-quality standards.
• Continuously challenges processes for efficiency and innovation.
• Open to learning new tech stacks and pushing boundaries.
