Ambrose Construct Group Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Desktop Building Estimator to join our Wangara office. You’ll operate as 2IC to the National VA / Tenders Leader, shaping national repair outcomes through estimating, auditing, and virtual assessments on insurance projects.

This office-based role requires strong estimating and leadership capabilities, with a focus on mentoring others, cost control, and delivering right-first-time results across complex insurance jobs.

Qualifikationen

• Construction background (carpentry or trade preferred).
• Strong understanding of residential construction and repair methodologies.
• Experience in estimating, scope writing, or insurance repairs.
• Ability to interpret complex technical reports and make informed decisions.
• Strong written communication skills with professional reporting capability.
• Commercial mindset with focus on cost control and value outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor or influence others.

Aufgaben

• Lead estimating activities and act as 2IC to the National VA / Tenders Leader.
• Estimate, schedule, and supervise trades remotely across national repairs.
• Coordinate make-safes and review insurer reports with precision.
• Mentor and support team performance and consistency in delivery.
• Contribute to leadership influence while maintaining technical work output.
