Job summary

RSM Australia in Brisbane is seeking a motivated Senior Analyst to join our Restructuring & Recovery team. You will work on a diverse range of corporate and personal insolvency engagements, business restructures and turnaround matters, taking ownership and delivering quality outcomes for clients and stakeholders.

You'll have 2–4 years in insolvency, a degree in Business/Commerce (Accounting) or Law, and progress toward CA/CPA.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years' insolvency, restructuring or recovery experience.
• Degree in Business, Commerce (Accounting major) or Law.
• CA/CPA qualification or near completion is favored.
• ARITA Insolvency Education program is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Manage and assist with small to medium insolvency engagements from planning through to completion.
• Conduct investigations into the affairs of companies and individuals.
• Prepare ASIC reports, statutory forms and regulatory documentation.
• Draft and review day-one correspondence, investigation letters and authority documents.
• Assist with director and bankrupt interviews.
• Prepare reports to creditors, including financial and commercial analysis.
• Support business trading engagements, preparing budgets, forecasts and cash flow models.
• Prepare letters of demand and other stakeholder communications.
• Liaise with lawyers, agents, auctioneers, creditors and other key stakeholders.
• Act as a primary point of contact across engagements.
• Review and mentor the work of Graduates and junior team members.
• Research and resolve complex technical and compliance matters.
