Job summary

RSM Australia’s Restructuring & Recovery team in Perth seeks a motivated Senior Analyst to work across insolvency engagements, restructurings and turnaround matters, while developing technical expertise with seasoned professionals. You will own key engagement aspects and mentor juniors, delivering practical client solutions in time-sensitive situations.

Ideal candidate has 2–4 years in insolvency areas, a degree in Business/Commerce or Law, strong communication and analytical skills, and

Qualifications

• 2–4 years' experience in insolvency, restructuring, recovery or related field.
• Degree in Business, Commerce (Accounting major) or Law with interest in Insolvency.
• Completion or near completion of CA, CPA or equivalent; ARITA Insolvency Education Program commencement.

Responsibilities

• Manage key aspects of corporate and personal insolvency, restructuring and advisory engagements.
• Conduct investigations, analyse financial information and identify key issues and recommendations.
• Assist with trading, asset realisation and other operational work, including budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare correspondence, working papers and reports for clients, creditors, courts and regulators.
• Manage statutory and regulatory requirements and key engagement deadlines.
• Liaise directly with directors, employees, creditors, clients and professional advisers.
• Monitor engagement progress, deadlines and budgets, escalating issues where required.
• Collaborate with colleagues and specialists across RSM.
