Job summary

Cor Cordis in Melbourne seeks experienced Senior professionals for its restructuring and insolvency team. You will work on live engagements from day one, including formal and informal appointments and workouts.

You will liaise with creditors, debtors and legal representatives, analyse financial information, and prepare statutory reports and forecasts to support decisions. Collaboration with Directors and Partners ensures strategic input beyond routine execution.

Qualifications

• A business or accounting degree (or equivalent).
• CA or CPA qualified, or working towards it.
• ARITA qualification obtained or in progress is highly regarded.
• An assertive communicator, comfortable holding difficult conversations with creditors, debtors and other stakeholders under pressure.
• Sound analytical and report-writing skills with attention to detail.
• A collaborative team player who also takes ownership.

Responsibilities

• Running the day-to-day of formal and informal insolvency appointments, from external administrations through to workouts.
• Liaising directly with creditors, debtors and legal representatives to keep engagements moving and outcomes on track.
• Analyzing financial information to assess business viability and shape restructuring options.
• Preparing statutory reports, forecasts and variance analysis that hold up to scrutiny from creditors and regulators.
• Working alongside Directors and Partners on complex matters, with real input into strategy rather than just execution.
