Job summary

The University of Western Australia (UWA) invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE) position to lead injury prevention, rehabilitation and wellbeing initiatives across the University. You will support design, implementation and continuous improvement of injury prevention and management programs, and manage complex workers' compensation and return-to-work matters with expert guidance.

Applicants should have relevant allied health qualifications and extensive experience in injury management,

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience managing complex injury management and workers' compensation cases, physical and psychological injuries.
  • Ability to provide strategic advice on health, rehabilitation and wellbeing matters to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Support design, implementation and continuous improvement of injury prevention and injury management programs.
  • Manage complex workers' compensation, return-to-work and fitness-for-work matters with guidance on workplace adjustments and supported plans.
  • Provide specialist advice on workplace wellbeing, psychosocial risks, mental health, manual handling and ergonomics with leaders.
