Job summary

MidCoast Council in New South Wales (Taree) seeks an Injury Management Specialist to support employees through safe, timely and sustainable recovery at work, coordinating injury and illness matters from notification through to closure with a focus on early intervention, effective rehabilitation and sustainable return-to-work outcomes.

• Experience in injury management, workers' compensation or case management.
• Ability to balance legislation with practical, compassionate support.
• Strong case management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workplace and non-work-related injury matters from notification to closure.
• Develop and monitor tailored return-to-work plans.
• Identify suitable duties and workplace adjustments.
• Provide advice, coaching and education to leaders.
