Job summary

Allianz Australia is seeking an Injury Management Specialist on a 12-month contract based in North Sydney and Sydney CBD. The role leads injury management practices to support Return to Work, Customer Satisfaction and Medical Expense Control targets, and provides injury management support and advisory services to Claims Operations.

You will coach teams, develop provider strategies, and drive return-to-work initiatives, collaborating with claims operations and treatment providers to reduce costs

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in injury management relating to occupational rehabilitation, claims management and/or return to work.
• Understanding of regulatory or legislative compliance requirements that impact the organisation.
• Coaching and mentoring experience and ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with claims operations and treatment providers to develop strategies for reducing costs through structured injury management practices.
• Provide expert advisory support to case managers and employers managing injuries.
• Establish and maintain provider management strategies and relationships to enable support to the business and drive positive return to work outcomes.
• Support and drive the implementation of return‑to‑work initiatives and innovations for improved customer and commercial outcomes.
• Build capability by coaching and mentoring teams on injury management methodology.
