Job summary

Allura Partners is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Solution Architect to drive hands-on migration and design for a major merger programme in financial services. You will lead AD and M365 tenant migrations and shape Azure-based infrastructure across the programme.

You will provide governance over vendors, align delivery to internal standards, and work with IT leadership to define the infrastructure direction across cloud, network, identity and end-user platforms.

Qualifications

Senior Infrastructure Solution Architect | Financial Services | M&A Program

Looking for an Infrastructure Solution Architect who knows their way around Active Directory and M365 tenant migrations, and wants to help shape a bank's technology landscape through a major merger programme.

Our client, a well-established financial services organisation, is deep into a multi-year merger and integration initiative. They need someone who can get hands-on with the infrastructure side of the transformation, not just the strategy deck.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading AD and Microsoft 365 tenant migration and consolidation work; Quest tools experience essential
• Designing and governing Azure-based infrastructure solutions across the merger programme
• Shaping infrastructure strategy across cloud, network, identity and end user platforms
• Providing architectural governance over third-party vendors, keeping delivery aligned to internal standards
• Supporting broader transformation work including application migration and system consolidation
• Acting as trusted advisor to business and IT leadership on infrastructure direction

What you'll need:

• 8+ years as a Senior or Lead Solution Architect, infrastructure focus
• Proven experience with AD/M365 tenant migration or consolidation projects using Quest tools
• Strong Azure solution architecture background
• Genuine range across legacy infrastructure, cloud (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) and application architecture
• Experience navigating large-scale system migration and consolidation
• A financial services background is a bonus; prior M&A architecture experience is even more so. Azure certification helps too.
