Job summary

Bielby is seeking a Project Quality Manager to lead quality processes on the Kempsey-Armidale Road Restoration Project in NSW. The role will start in Sydney during design and mobilise to the regional site in 2027, reporting to the Project Director and ensuring compliance with Bielby Management System and client standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a similar role on a medium to large infrastructure project.
• Expertise in quality standards, processes, and procedures specific to civil construction.
• Solid understanding of relevant legislation.
• Deep knowledge of quality management plans and systems.
• Skilled in conducting quality investigations in accordance with established procedures.
• Ability to influence others and work collaboratively with the project team to drive compliance and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer the Quality Management Plan in accordance with the Bielby Management System, contract requirements, and applicable legislation
• Monitor and manage all project quality requirements to minimize rework and ensure full compliance
• Serve as the on-site point of contact for all quality-related matters for the client, project team, and subcontractors
• Coach and develop all project staff and subcontractors on quality requirements and processes
• Be proactive in the continuous improvement of the Bielby Management System and provide advice to the Project Manager to continuously improve the project's quality
