Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead planning, management and delivery of complex projects across South East Queensland. You will guide projects from inception through to completion, establishing the right delivery approach, managing teams and ensuring outcomes in scope, schedule, cost, and quality.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in project management or major project delivery within infrastructure, property, buildings or complex delivery environments.
• Proven experience leading projects from establishment and planning through to execution and completion.
• Strong understanding of project management fundamentals, governance and delivery methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior project leadership, owning end-to-end delivery.
• Lead planning, establishment and delivery from inception to completion.
• Develop and implement project delivery strategies, governance and reporting.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, procurement and performance.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors and partners.
• Monitor risks, issues, dependencies and opportunities throughout the lifecycle.
• Oversee financial performance, forecasting and cost control.
• Build strong client and stakeholder relationships and provide strategic advice.
• Deliver clear reporting and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery and commercial outcomes.
• Mentor and support project teams to foster high performance.
