Job summary

BDO in Australia is seeking a Senior Consultant for the Financial & Commercial Advisory team based in Perth. You will own defined workstreams, develop robust financial and commercial analyses, and interact directly with clients to translate complex issues into practical advice.

The role emphasizes advanced Excel modelling, market assessments, and delivering high-quality reports for infrastructure projects across public and private sectors in Western Australia and nationally.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial and commercial advisory or related field.
• Experience building and reviewing financial models with advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Build, review and maintain complex financial models in Excel to support business cases and transactions.
• Undertake financial, commercial and quantitative analysis including scenario testing.
• Prepare financial and commercial analysis for infrastructure business cases including affordability and value-for-money.
• Assess and compare infrastructure delivery models and procurement approaches.
• Conduct financial model reviews and identify risks, errors and improvement opportunities.
• Support transaction advisory engagements including due diligence and financial close activities.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to gather information and deliver solutions.
