BDO's Perth-based Financial & Commercial Advisory team is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Project & Infrastructure Advisory group. You will own defined workstreams, build robust financial models in Excel, and translate complex financial and commercial issues into practical guidance for public and private sector clients.

Qualifications

• Strong financial modelling experience with infrastructure projects.
• Experience applying financial and commercial analysis to major investment decisions.
• Postgraduate or professional studies such as CA, CPA or CFA; well regarded.

Responsibilities

• Build, review and maintain complex financial models in Excel to support business cases, feasibility studies and project finance.
• Undertake financial, commercial and quantitative analysis including scenario and sensitivity testing.
• Prepare financial and commercial analysis for infrastructure business cases, affordability and value-for-money assessments.
• Assess and compare infrastructure delivery models, procurement approaches and commercial structures.
• Conduct financial model reviews, identifying risks, errors and opportunities for improvement.
• Support transaction advisory engagements including due diligence, bid evaluation and financial close activities.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to gather information and deliver project outcomes.
