BDO is building a CFO Advisory capability in the Perth office. The role supports clients across public and private sectors in developing, enhancing and transforming their finance functions, delivering timely and high-quality financial information closely aligned with business goals.

This dynamic role offers opportunities to work with senior leaders and embedded client teams, driving practical, governance-focused finance solutions and value creation.

Qualifications

• Experience in audit, business services, or commerce.
• CA or CPA qualified, or close to completion.
• A curious mind and a desire to work collaboratively within the team and with other teams across BDO.
• Motivated to make a difference and deliver value to clients.
• A sound understanding of finance functions, including systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to optimise or establish finance functions.
• Apply audit, business services, or commerce expertise to identify and address issues.
• Engage with CEOs, CFOs, and Board members to develop governance structures.
• Provide technical accounting guidance aligned with client goals.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Enhance decision-making through improved financial information and processes.
• Support year-end Financial Reporting and Sustainability Reporting audit cycles.
