XPT Software Australia PTY Ltd is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead Linux system administration across on-prem and cloud environments. The role focuses on deploying Kubernetes and VM-based malware analysis tools, with strong VMware expertise and solid networking skills.

A candidate comfortable with sandboxed environments and support tooling is required. Solid experience with Docker/Kubernetes, cloud services, and documenting procedures will be essential for success in this role in

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Linux systems administration across on-prem and cloud environments.
Deep expertise in VMware and VMware Aria, including design, deployment, and lifecycle management.
Strong networking knowledge, including VLANs, DNS, load balancers, and firewall rules.
Experience deploying and configuring sandboxed (or isolated) environments.
Experience deploying developer and analyst tooling, including IDE environments, package management, and access controls.
Ability to create and maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures

Responsabilités

Support deployment of Kubernetes and VM-based malware analysis tools across different cloud environments.
Experience with cloud services and virtualization, and how these relate to application deployment for virtual machine, Kubernetes, and codeless applications.
Familiarity with containerisation principles including Docker and Kubernetes
