Job summary

Softtest pays pty ltd seeks Infrastructure Engineers to implement and manage a broad ICT footprint in the Australian public sector context. You will oversee virtual service environments, servers and gateways, and collaborate with stakeholders to design, test and maintain new and existing infrastructure services.

The role requires hands-on expertise across Windows Server, AD, SCCM, Hyper-V, SCOM, DNS/DHCP, and enterprise networking, including firewalls and varied vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
• Strong background in virtualisation, data centres and network services.
• Familiarity with security gateways, firewalls and enterprise routing.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across ICT infrastructure projects.
• Maintain, monitor, and upgrade VSE environments and servers.
• Plan, design, develop, test and maintain virtual service components.
• Configure and deploy virtual services and servers with ownership guidance.
• Lead analysis, planning, delivery and performance improvement activities.
• Promote adoption of virtual services to ICT stakeholders and project teams.
• Support project teams in maintaining their own virtual service environments.
• Support management of secure gateways, data centres and network services.
• Coordinate with external and internal providers and manage multiple tasks.
