Job summary

Mace is delivering a complex, large-scale infrastructure programme in Sydney. We need a senior cost estimator/quantity surveyor to lead client-side estimating, shape procurement strategies, and drive value engineering on civil, structural or MEP scopes.

You’ll work within an integrated delivery team on a high-quality, tightly regulated project. Ideally you have MRICS/RICS, a degree in a relevant field, and 10–15 years of delivery experience across major projects.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in a relevant field with MRICS/RICS preferred.
• 10–15 years’ experience in cost estimating or quantity surveying.
• Experience as a functional lead on a client-side integrated team.
• Strong commercial, contract and value-engineering knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Brings 10–15 years’ experience in cost estimating/quantity surveying across civils, structural, or MEP projects.
• Acts as the functional estimating lead within a client-side integrated delivery team.
• Leads major infrastructure estimate development and reviews contractor pricing.
• Delivers robust cost planning, final cost plans, valuations and reporting.
• Manages design-change cost impacts, contract administration and final accounts.
• Builds strong relationships while driving performance and continuous improvement.
