Mace is executing a complex, large scale infrastructure programme in Sydney. We are seeking an experienced commercial leader to drive cost control, valuations, and post‑contract activities while guiding senior teams to deliver high standards within a regulated environment.

Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in major programmes, strong risk and cost analysis skills, and a commitment to sustainability and social value in delivery. Flexible and hybrid working options are considered.

The Project

Working with an amazing client and talented Mace team, this project will be of incredibly high-quality standards in a heavily regulated environment, suiting people with similar project experience that operate with the highest integrity and professionalism.

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Leads cost and commercial delivery, overseeing valuations, cost control, reporting, and post‑contract documentation.
• Manages senior teams, providing leadership, coaching, and driving continuous improvement across all activities.
• Oversees assessment of costs, design changes, contract awards, delay claims, and client‑related charges.
• Ensures timely issuance of certificates, completion requirements, and agreement of final accounts.
• Implements best‑practice processes, performance improvement cycles, and transformational change.
• Collaborates with stakeholders while supporting carbon‑reduction goals and sustainable delivery.

You’ll Need To Have

• Technical leadership across commercial strategy, estimation, contract administration, and packaging for major programmes.
• Experience delivering commercial strategy and procurement within complex client ecosystems, ideally aviation.
• Proven commercial management expertise with strong risk, change, contract, and cost analysis capability.
• Strong stakeholder leadership with excellent communication and deep knowledge of sustainability, social value, and carbon reduction.
