Paxus Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Technical Specialist to provide technical engineering, design assurance and systems engineering support across a large portfolio of Commonwealth ICT infrastructure projects. The role spans data centre, network, compute, cloud and security environments, with responsibilities across design reviews, assurance, and governance.

Qualifications

Experience across data centres, enterprise networking, compute & virtualization, cloud & automation, security, and systems engineering.

Responsibilities

Review technical designs, engineering artefacts and solution proposals.
Provide senior design and systems engineering advice.
Assess technical and contract change proposals for feasibility, integration impact and value for money.
Review vendor designs, specifications, bills of materials and sizing assumptions.
Provide technical assurance across complex infrastructure solutions.
Identify technical risks, dependencies and impacts across interconnected environments.
Support design assurance, governance and solution acceptance activities.
Provide clear technical advice to project teams, senior stakeholders and industry partners.
