Job summary

Australia Post is seeking a Senior Industrial Relations Partner to shape workforce outcomes and support major organisational change across Australia. You will advise senior leaders, engage with unions, and steer complex industrial matters in a large, highly unionised environment.

This permanent full-time role offers a hybrid work model with flexibility to balance life and work, and opportunities to influence strategic decisions while navigating regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications

• Significant senior experience in Industrial Relations or Workplace Relations within a large, complex organisation.
• Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act, enterprise agreements and modern awards.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and advisory skills at senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert IR advice on union engagement, consultation obligations and workforce change initiatives.
• Lead and support complex industrial matters including enterprise bargaining and Fair Work Commission proceedings.
• Partner with senior leaders to navigate organisational change balancing commercial and regulatory needs.
• Monitor emerging IR legislation and provide practical risk-minimising recommendations.
• Build strong relationships with unions, employee reps, and internal stakeholders to drive positive outcomes.
