Qualifications

• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (accredited) or equivalent.
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or eligible.
• Significant post-graduate experience in mechanical design for industrial sectors.
• Experience leading mechanical design on multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong knowledge of Australian standards and codes.
• Experience with mechanical/piping design tools (AutoCAD/Plant 3D, E3D).
• Experience with OEMs on equipment selection and integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver mechanical design across industrial projects with technical direction.
• Act as technical authority for mechanical and piping design, ensuring quality and fitness for purpose.
• Plan, coordinate and undertake complex engineering tasks across multiple projects.
• Prepare, review and approve designs, calculations, specifications and reports.
• Mentor and support engineers, designers and drafters.
