KBR’s Infrastructure Services Australia seeks a design-focused Principal Mechanical Engineer for water treatment projects across Australia. You will lead design for large water and wastewater facilities, mentor engineers, and manage client relationships in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.

You will drive constructable solutions, oversee technical reports and bid preparations, and collaborate on digital engineering initiatives to future-proof projects.

Qualifications

• Design focused Principal Mechanical Engineer with water & wastewater experience across utilities and industrial applications.
• Pragmatic approach to develop constructable design solutions with commercial acumen in water infrastructure delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of large water and wastewater treatment plants and pump stations.
• Lead investigations and prepare technical reports, designs and drawings, contract documents and specifications.
• Provide guidance to engineers across the company
• Manage client relationships across projects nationwide
• Assist Industry Leads in business strategy development
• Lead the preparation of large and small bids
• Promote and practice KBR’s Zero Harm policy
