Based at Herston Campus, the role focuses on engagement, content creation and coordinating stakeholder activities.

Qualifications

• Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person is essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement or community engagement in relevant sectors.
• Well-developed written communication for diverse audiences.
• Ability to coordinate activities and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities.
• Support the Cancer Ambassador program and stakeholder events.
• Strengthen strategic research partnerships and engagement with external organisations.
• Develop clear, accessible content for websites, brochures, newsletters and social media.
