Job summary

GBG Plc in Sydney, Australia, seeks a Senior Implementation Consultant to lead the end-to-end deployment of GBG Identity Verification, Biometrics, and Compliance solutions for strategic accounts.

You will collaborate with Sales, Solution Consulting, Product, and Engineering to translate business needs into effective solutions, mentor teammates, and ensure on-time delivery while maximizing value for customers.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering complex SaaS, identity, fraud or compliance implementations for enterprise customers.
• Experience using integration, testing, and troubleshooting tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Splunk, Coralogix or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of Identity Verification, Biometrics, Fraud Prevention, Digital Identity, KYC, KYB, and AML solutions would be beneficial but not essential.
• Strong customer engagement, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence across audiences.
• Proven ability to lead customer workshops, requirements discovery, solution design discussions, demonstrations, and training engagements.
• Experience planning and coordinating customer implementations, including project scheduling, risk management, issue resolution, and governance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop high-quality customer-facing and internal documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to interpret data and provide practical recommendations.
• Ability to conduct technical research, evaluate options, and apply industry best practices to support outcomes.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation, onboarding, activation, and deployment of GBG solutions for strategic and enterprise customers.
• Facilitate discovery workshops and requirements gathering to understand customer needs and regulatory requirements.
• Design, configure, test, and validate implementations aligned with customer objectives and GBG practices.
• Act as the primary implementation lead for engagements, guiding the onboarding and lifecycle.
• Educate customers on GBG products to maximise value from investments.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders to support adoption and outcomes.
• Provide guidance on product architecture, integrations, APIs, SDKs, and reporting capabilities.
• Support customer reporting and analytics requirements, including performance and trend analyses.
• Define, document, and improve implementation and delivery processes across releases.
• Develop and maintain implementation plans, schedules, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Coordinate delivery across Sales, Presales, Product, Engineering, Support, and Operations.
• Drive governance and stakeholder engagement with clear status updates.
• Identify, manage, and escalate risks and blockers to minimise impacts.
• Support UAT, go-live planning, and post-implementation reviews.
• Mentor consultants with product knowledge and delivery best practices.
• Perform other duties as required by the Head of Professional Services.
