Job summary

Optus is seeking a Commercial Contract Manager (CCM) to optimise the performance of strategic Tier 1 contracts. You will lead complex negotiations, provide governance guidance, and oversee end-to-end lifecycle management with key account teams and delivery directors.

In this senior role you will manage high-value ICT contracts, support bids, ensure policy and regulatory compliance, and drive favorable commercial outcomes for Optus while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial contract management within ICT or outsourcing services.
• Ability to lead negotiations and manage commercial terms with senior stakeholders.
• Strong risk, financial, and governance awareness in contract contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial and contract negotiations for new business, variations and SOWs.
• Provide expert commercial, contractual, and governance advice to account teams.
• Manage end-to-end contract lifecycle: drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering agreements.
• Act as escalation point for contractual issues and drive timely resolutions.
• Monitor performance, obligations, risks and change controls across contract term.
• Identify and mitigate risks while maximizing commercial value and partnerships.
