Job summary

Kaizen Global Technologies is seeking an experienced IAM/Auth0 engineer in Sydney to design, implement, and maintain secure authentication and authorization flows within enterprise applications.

You will lead the deployment of Auth0 across tenants, develop authentication journeys, and integrate with Java/Spring Boot and .NET ecosystems, ensuring robust session management, API security, and compliant identity practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, IAM, security engineering, or platform engineering.
• At least 3 years of hands-on Auth0 delivery, including tenant administration and Actions.
• Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML 2.0, JWT, JWKS, and session security.
• Experience integrating identity services with Java/Spring Boot and .NET applications.
• Experience securing APIs with client credentials, scopes, roles, permissions, and refresh tokens.
• Auth0 Deploy CLI, Terraform Auth0 Provider, CI/CD, and configuration as code.
• Experience with API gateways, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and secrets management.
• Experience in financial services or other regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Configure Auth0 tenants, Universal Login, database and enterprise connections, custom domains, and branding.
• Develop Auth0 Actions for login and registration journeys.
• Integrate Auth0 with Java/Spring Boot and .NET applications, including sessions and protected APIs.
• Implement secure OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML 2.0 flows, token validation, scopes, permissions, and custom claims.
• Deliver MFA, passwordless, passkey, and machine-to-machine authentication journeys.
• Automate deployments, troubleshoot authentication issues, and support production releases.
