Job summary

Worley in Perth is seeking a Senior Hydrologist / Water Resources Engineer to lead hydrology and water resources studies across mining, energy and infrastructure sectors.

You will mentor junior engineers, guide project delivery, and build trusted client relationships while delivering high-quality modelling and reports. This role offers flexibility within Worley’s global water resources network and long-term career development.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Hydrology or related discipline.
• Master's degree in Hydrology or Water Resources preferred.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience in hydrology or water resources consulting.
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or progressing towards professional accreditation.
• Experience applying ARR guidelines and industry best practice, especially in mining regions.
• Experience in mine water management and water infrastructure projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead hydrology and water resources studies for mining, energy, chemicals and infrastructure projects.
• Undertake and review hydrological, hydraulic, flood and water balance assessments with high-quality outcomes.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to graduates and junior engineers.
• Act as Project Manager for small- and medium-sized projects and support larger project teams.
