Mineral Resources in Perth is seeking a Senior Hydrology and Water Resources Engineer to contribute to a diverse portfolio of water resources projects. You will apply hydrologic and hydraulic models, lead multidisciplinary teams and engage with clients across mining, infrastructure and urban development sectors.

The role offers flexible working arrangements, a range of project types and opportunities to mentor engineers while delivering technically robust outcomes in a dynamic environment.

Competenze

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 5 to 15 years of relevant consulting, industry or client-side experience.
• Experience in flood modelling, hydrology, hydraulic engineering, surface water, mine water management, or water balance modelling.
• Experience delivering complex water resources projects across sectors such as mining, infrastructure, energy, water, defence or urban development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret modelling outcomes and communicate practical recommendations.

Mansioni

• Develop and apply hydrologic, hydraulic and water balance models using tools such as TUFLOW and GoldSim.
• Deliver flood studies, flood risk assessments, flood impact assessments, drainage studies and development impact assessments.
• Support mine water management and surface water management projects.
• Undertake catchment assessments, flood investigations and water system analyses.
• Lead technical components of multidisciplinary projects and collaborate with specialists across water, civil engineering, mining, environment, dams, tailings and planning.
• Manage projects, coordinate multidisciplinary inputs and deliver high-quality outcomes within scope, programme and budget.
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Prepare proposals and contribute to business development.
• Undertaking technical reviews and mentoring to engineers and emerging professionals.
