Job summary

New Edge Group is seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Service Technician to join a growing service business in Sydney. You’ll own fieldwork across commercial and industrial HVAC systems, solving faults, performing maintenance and installations while delivering high standards of service and customer satisfaction.

You’ll work with a supportive service team, communicate professionally with clients, and take pride in ownership of outcomes, from start to finish, across diverse sites in the Sydney

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Working with Children Check and Police Check, or willingness to obtain them.
• Strong experience servicing and maintaining commercial HVAC systems.
• Advanced diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work independently while also contributing to a strong team environment.
• A professional approach and a willingness to take ownership of customer outcomes.
• Experience across commercial, industrial, education, health and retail environments will be highly regarded.
• Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who takes ownership, wants to be a part of a strong team, looks after the customer and takes pride in their work.

Responsibilities

• Planned and preventative HVAC maintenance.
• Diagnosing complex faults and carrying out repairs.
• Responding to reactive breakdowns; identifying issues and recommending practical solutions.
• Attending full-function fire tests alongside our experienced certifiers.
• Communicating professionally with customers, site contacts and the New Edge service team.
• Managing your work autonomously and taking ownership from start to finish.
• Sharing your knowledge and experience across the wider service team.
• Participating in a rotating on-call roster.
• Travelling to customer sites throughout the Sydney region.
