Job summary

Talon Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Project Draftsperson for HVAC and mechanical construction projects in Perth. The role involves producing accurate shop drawings for equipment placement, piping runs, ductwork and ventilation while collaborating with engineering, project management and design teams.

The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of shop drawing experience in contracting, with strong HVAC drafting skills, leadership potential and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 4 - 5 years experience as a shopdrawing mechanical draftsperson in the contracting space with experience in QA, leading and mentoring
• Extensive experience drafting in the HVAC contractor space and ducting market is essential
• Very strong draftsman who are looking for a chance to lead people will also be considered for this role
• An excellent team player with an outgoing team environment
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills with both colleagues and clients
• Previous experience with a mechanical contractor in the Perth market is ideal
