Job summary

Enerven is seeking a Secondary Engineer to deliver HV and UHV substation and renewable energy secondary designs across a national portfolio from concept to commissioning. You will review work and provide guidance to engineers, drafters and project teams while balancing technical and commercial factors.

Based in Sydney from our Macquarie Park office, you will collaborate with protection specialists to ensure integration with SCADA and telecom interfaces, and contribute to process improvements and

Qualifications

• Qualified engineer with detailed knowledge of secondary design across substations and renewables.
• Experience on HV/UHV transmission projects and ability to produce secondary deliverables.
• Ability to plan, prioritise, and estimate engineering effort across multiple projects.
• Ability to communicate clearly with engineers, drafters and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop HV and UHV secondary designs for substations and renewables (SLDs, schematics, general arrangements, cable schedules, load calcs).
• Review secondary designs and provide guidance to engineers, designers and drafters.
• Coordinate with protection team to align secondary designs with protection, control, metering and SCADA.
