CPP is seeking a Senior Primary Engineer in Melbourne to lead high‑voltage substation design from concept through construction support on large renewable and utility projects. You will hold tertiary Electrical/Power Engineering qualifications and bring hands‑on HV experience in arc flash, insulation coordination, earthing, and real power system studies (short circuit, load flow, lightning).

Working with multi‑disciplinary teams, you’ll ensure technically robust, constructible designs and on‑time

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience performing in HV electrical projects.
• Hands-on experience in Arc Flash, Insulation Coordination Studies or Earthing.
• Power system studies experience (not reviewing) including lightning, short circuit, load flow etc.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-voltage substation designs from concept to construction support.
• Produce detailed engineering studies in system studies, earthing and HV cable sizing.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to optimise constructibility.
