Consolidated Power Projects (CPP) is seeking a Principal Engineer - Primary Design (HV Substations) to lead high-voltage substation designs from concept through construction support. You will mentor engineers and contribute to detailed primary design studies across Australia.

We value hands-on expertise in system studies, earthing, and HV cable sizing, with a track record of delivering major renewable energy and transmission projects.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience delivering HV primary designs and studies.
• Hands on experience in Arc Flash, Insulation Coordination or Earthing.
• Power system study experience including lightning and short circuit analysis.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-voltage substation primary designs from concept to construction support.
• Mentor and support engineers while contributing to technical studies.
• Lead multiple HV projects across Australia with design integrity.
