Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience performing in HV electrical design; not just reviewing.
- Expertise in substation design.
- Hands-on experience in Arc Flash, Insulation Coordination Studies or Earthing.
- Power system study experience (not reviewing) including lightning, lighting, short circuit, load flow etc.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-voltage substation designs from concept through construction support.
- Produce detailed engineering studies in system studies, earthing, insulation coordination, or HV cable sizing.
- Collaborate with electrical, civil, structural and SCADA teams to ensure practical designs.
- Support commissioning and maintenance activities for HV infrastructure.
