Komatsu Australia is seeking an experienced Leading Hand Tradesman to support and coordinate our mining maintenance team in Queensland. You’ll stay connected to the technical side while taking on responsibility for safety, work allocation and team performance.

You’ll lead daily maintenance activities, allocate priorities, provide hands-on support and ensure maintenance tasks meet OEM standards with accurate documentation.

Formación

• Trade qualification in heavy mobile equipment maintenance.
• Experience maintaining and repairing heavy mining equipment.
• Experience leading or coordinating a team.
• Strong safety awareness and mine site procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate daily maintenance across technicians, electricians and subcontractors.
• Allocate work priorities and ensure teams have tools and resources.
• Provide technical guidance and hands-on support.
• Support pre-start meetings and risk assessments.
• Work with planners to keep maintenance progressing.
• Monitor work quality against OEM standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and shift reports.
• Promote communication and continuous improvement.
