Key Responsibilities

Monitor legislative and industrial relations developments and advise the business of any resulting risks, obligations or required changes.

Support the development, negotiation, implementation and interpretation of enterprise agreements and other industrial instruments, where applicable.

Assist with employee consultation obligations relating to workplace change, restructures, redundancies, transfers, changes to working arrangements and project mobilisation or demobilisation.

Develop and maintain constructive relationships with employees, employee representatives, unions and other external stakeholders.

Support Enscope in industrial disputes, grievances, conciliation matters and proceedings before the Fair Work Commission or other relevant bodies.

Identify emerging industrial relations risks and recommend proactive mitigation strategies.

Assist project and operational teams with workforce planning and industrial relations strategies for new and existing projects.

Employee Relations

Manage complex and sensitive employee relations matters, including performance concerns, misconduct, grievances, complaints, workplace conflict and disciplinary processes.

Provide managers with advice and coaching on procedural fairness, natural justice, documentation and appropriate decision‑making.

Plan and conduct workplace investigations, including preparing findings and recommendations.

Support formal performance management processes, including performance improvement plans and probationary reviews.

Provide advice regarding termination of employment, redundancy, abandonment of employment, extended absence and medical capacity matters.

Partner with leaders to resolve workplace issues early and minimise operational, legal and reputational risk.

Maintain accurate, confidential and defensible records of employee relations matters.

Coordinate with external legal advisers and specialist consultants when required.

Human Resources

Provide end‑to‑end HR advice and support across the employee lifecycle.

Partner with managers to understand workforce requirements and provide practical people solutions aligned with operational needs.

Support onboarding, probation, performance reviews, remuneration reviews, employee development, succession planning, retention and offboarding.

Prepare and review employment contracts, variation letters, position descriptions, policies and other employment documentation.

Provide advice on remuneration, allowances, classifications, working arrangements, leave entitlements and employment conditions.

Assist with organisational restructures, workforce changes and position design.

Work collaboratively with Talent Acquisition to support workforce planning, recruitment, internal appointments and employment offers.

Support leaders in managing employee wellbeing, attendance, conduct and workplace behaviour.

Respond to employee enquiries professionally, consistently and confidentially.

Policy, Governance and Compliance

Develop, review and implement HR and industrial relations policies, procedures, guidelines and supporting documentation.

Ensure HR practices remain consistent with the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards, applicable awards and agreements, and other relevant legislation.

Conduct reviews and audits of employment practices, employee records and HR processes to identify compliance gaps and improvement opportunities.

Maintain awareness of legislative changes and support the implementation of necessary business updates.

Assist with internal and external audits and provide employment‑related information when required.

Promote consistent application of Enscope’s policies, processes and employment standards throughout the business.

Support the preparation of reports, workforce data and people‑related insights for senior management.
