St John Ambulance Victoria is seeking an experienced, values-driven leader to drive Health, Safety and Wellbeing initiatives across our diverse workforce and sites. You will provide expert advice, build strong relationships and lead development of HSW strategies to ensure compliance and align with organisational goals.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) with significant leadership experience.
• In-depth knowledge of WHS legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Experience maintaining ISO 45001 management systems.
• Proven ability to coach and influence leaders across multiple sites.
• Experience implementing risk, safety and governance systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HSW team and set strategic frameworks across the organisation.
• Provide expert advice and build stakeholder relationships.
• Drive continuous improvement of HSW strategies and compliance.
• Analyse HSW data to identify trends and mitigate risk.
• Support transition plans to new ISO45001 standards when opportunities arise.
