Job summary

St John Ambulance Victoria is seeking an experienced HSW leader to drive health, safety and wellbeing initiatives across diverse sites. You will provide expert advice, develop and continuously improve HSW strategies, and maintain ISO 45001 accreditation while coaching leaders to build capability and a proactive safety culture.

The role focuses on legislative compliance, stakeholder engagement, and delivering measurable positive safety outcomes across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as an HSW leader.
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance.
• Experience maintaining ISO 45001 management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HSW team across multiple sites and provide expert advice.
• Develop and improve HSW strategies, systems and frameworks for compliance and organisational alignment.
• Coach and mentor leaders to build capability and positive HSW outcomes.
