Job summary

Kelsian Group Limited is seeking an experienced Senior HSEQ Internal Auditor to join our team, based at either of our Adelaide or Brisbane offices. You will provide independent assurance across Australian operations, supporting safer, more sustainable transport and helping lift HSEQ maturity.

You will work with senior leaders to assess risk, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and support continuous improvement of our HSEQ management systems across sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in HSEQ compliance, audit, or risk management within a complex, multi-site or regulated environment.
• Certified Lead Auditor qualification in ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and/or ISO 9001 (Essential)
• Tertiary qualification in Work Health & Safety (Essential)
• PR or Australian Citizenship; no visa sponsorship or transfers will be offered.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a risk based HSEQ Assurance Program covering Australian operations including providing insights to senior management on systemic issues, trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Support the external ISO certification audits by delivering required internal audits over the effectiveness of Management Systems.
• Monitor and report on the completion and effectiveness of corrective actions taken in response to audit findings and Management System non-conformances.
• Prepare executive-level assurance reports for the Head of Risk, Assurance & ESG and relevant Committees, highlighting audit findings, systemic trends, and risk exposure levels.
• Travel primarily across Australia, with potential for international assignments to deliver regional assurance programs.
