Job summary

Applus+ Pacific is looking for an experienced Senior HSEQ Advisor to ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements while supporting a major Oil & Gas client. This position requires someone with a strong background in HSE practices and proven success in maintaining high safety standards.

Key responsibilities include supporting frontline teams, conducting audits, and driving continuous improvement in safety, health, environment, and quality outcomes. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience, including knowledge of WA WHS regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years’ HSE experience required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
• Demonstrated experience in audits and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company and statutory HSEQ requirements.
• Provide practical HSEQ advice to managers and field personnel.
• Support and monitor critical risk controls, including fatigue management.

Skills

HSE experience within mining, construction, civil, or resources environments

Knowledge of WA WHS Act and Regulations

Ability to influence safe behaviours

Experience with Indigenous workforces

Education

Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety or higher

Current First Aid Certificate

ICAM Lead Investigator certification

Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
