Job summary

ALS Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Advisor HSE Projects for a six-month contract based in Scoresby. You will drive the national rollout of the group’s HSE management system, harmonising practices across Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania, and providing practical advice to leaders, HR and safety teams.

You will deliver training, embed consistent risk and regulatory practices, and support incident investigation follow-ups.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Health and Safety or related discipline.
• Experience in a strategic HSE advisory role across multi-site/high-risk environments.
• Strong knowledge of Australian safety legislation and WorkSafe regulations.
• Experience managing psychosocial hazards.

Responsibilities

• Support national rollout of HSE projects and management systems.
• Harmonise HSE practices across Victoria, SA and Tasmania.
• Partner with leaders to embed a strong safety culture.
• Develop and deliver training on HSE systems, risk management and compliance.
• Provide advice on safety legislation and injury prevention.
• Maintain HSE documentation and drive continuous improvement.
• Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Travel interstate as required during leave coverage.
