Job summary

Tasmea Corporate Services Ltd. in Adelaide seeks a Senior HSE Advisor to drive safety performance across mining and heavy industry sites.

This hands-on role partners with operations to strengthen compliance, lead audits, incident investigations and continuous improvement initiatives, with regular travel between sites in eastern states. The successful candidate will have 5–10 years in HSE, a Diploma in WHS, and strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and ISO standards; growth into HSE

Qualifications

• 5-10 years' experience in a dedicated HSE role within mining or heavy industry
• Diploma in WHS or an equivalent qualification
• Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and compliance requirements
• Experience conducting audits, inspections, investigations and risk assessments
• Understanding of HSE management systems, ISO standards, injury management and Return To Work programs
• Strong written, verbal communication skills and attention to detail
• The ability to engage, coach and influence leaders and frontline personnel
• The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with WHS legislation, regulations and company policies
• Leading HSEQ audits, inspections and assurance activities
• Managing incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Partnering with managers and operational teams to strengthen safety leadership and accountability
• Maintaining HSE systems, compliance registers, reporting processes and documentation
• Reviewing and updating policies, procedures and risk registers to meet regulatory requirements
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across safety, environmental and risk functions
• Conducting site visits to provide practical support and promote a proactive safety culture
