Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join the Global Strategic Accounts team in Australia. You will support contract mobilisation, operational delivery and assurance activities across the GSA portfolio, providing expert HSE guidance, audits and investigations to ensure compliance with the HSEQ Management System and client requirements.

Ideal candidates will hold a Diploma or higher in WHS, have 3–5 years’ experience in HSE/Compliance, and be proficient in ISO 45001/14001/9001

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher qualification in WHS or related discipline.
• 3–5 years' experience in Health, Safety & Environment, Compliance or Assurance.
• Demonstrated experience conducting audits and assurance activities.
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and HSE Management Systems.
• Experience with ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 frameworks.
• Ability to lead investigations, conduct risk assessments and support corrective actions.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills; strong stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational HSE support across the GSA portfolio, including contract mobilisation and transition activities.
• Support tender submissions with HSE plans, risk assessments and mobilisation strategies.
• Coach operational leaders to improve HSE capability and performance.
• Facilitate risk assessments, HAZIDs, and management of change.
• Support incident investigations and verification of corrective actions.
• Develop HSE communications, toolbox talks and safety campaigns.
• Execute a risk-based HSE Assurance Program across Eastern Australia.
• Conduct internal and client audits and monitor compliance requirements.
• Prepare assurance reports for leadership and stakeholders.
• Support digital HSE initiatives and compliance systems.
