Job summary

Sitzler Pty is seeking a Senior HSE Advisor for a project-based role in Western Australia. You will lead safety across the project teams, ensuring compliance with the Sitzler Management System and applicable WHS obligations.

The role requires a strong background in construction safety, incident investigation, risk assessment and mentoring HSE staff, with a track record of delivering proactive safety outcomes across large commercial and civil works.

Qualifications

• Senior HSE Advisor with extensive experience in construction projects.
• Knowledge of WHS legislation, codes of practice and OFSC criteria.
• Ability to lead, coach and mentor HSE teams across project lifecycles.
• Strong communication and incident investigation skills.
• Proven track record of risk assessment and control effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and proactive direction to workplace personnel ensuring compliance with Sitzler Management System and legislation
• Ensure Management System requirements are implemented and records maintained
• Identify hazards, assess risk, determine controls and verify effectiveness
• Report on HSE performance to WHS Manager and Direct Line Manager
• Acquire and communicate HSE information and instructions
• Uphold safe and environmentally friendly practices
• Stay updated on corporate, legislative, and statutory requirements and communicate changes
