Job summary

NSW Health is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to lead workforce design, industrial relations and complex employee matters at Westmead Hospital. You will partner with senior leaders to shape strategy, drive change and foster an inclusive workplace culture.

This temporary opportunity offers 38 hours per week (job share possible for part-time) with a tenure until 03/10/2027 in a dynamic public health service.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in HR management or business, or equivalent extensive HR management experience.
• Generalist HR business partnering across a broad portfolio including industrial relations and organisational change.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR policies; capable of complex investigations.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent, high-level HR advice and strategic support for a complex portfolio.
• Advise on organisational design, workforce planning, recruitment and change management.
• Guide on employee relations, awards, grievances, misconduct and disciplinary processes.
• Lead investigations and reviews of workplace issues and prepare briefs and submissions.
• Coach leaders to strengthen HR capability and promote fair, consistent practices.
• Analyze workforce data, prepare reports and contribute to policy development.
