Job summary

Capability HR in Sydney, NSW is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner for a 12-month maternity cover. The role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution, partnering with executives and global HR teams in a fast-moving environment.

You will oversee an HR/WHS Advisor, drive complex employee relations, governance, and global HR processes, and manage the 4-days-per-week, hybrid setup. Start Sep with handover.

Qualifications

• Senior HR partner with governance experience.
• Experience in complex, global or matrix environments.
• Ability to balance strategic and operational work.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders; coach, advise and influence
• Lead HR governance: Executive Committee, Remuneration Committee, D&I
• Manage complex ER, performance issues and sensitive matters
• Oversee HR operations, payroll accuracy and compliance
• Deliver global HR cycles: performance, engagement, D&I, succession
• Run the annual bonus cycle (calibration + spreadsheet calculations)
• Localise global policies and push back where needed
• Support change initiatives and ad hoc executive requests
• Drive retention and key-person dependency work
