Anglican Community Services in Sydney is seeking a Portfolio Development Manager - Vertical Villages to lead multiple complex development projects from acquisition through to handover. You will drive feasibility, investment analysis and commercial decision-making to maximise value while delivering high-quality housing with social impact.

Qualifications

• Degree in Property, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Planning or Project Management required.
• Experience leading complex high-rise residential, mixed-use, or master-planned developments.
• Advanced feasibility modelling and financial evaluation skills.
• Strong procurement, contract administration, and delivery capability.
• Proven leadership and ability to mentor teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of multiple complex development projects across all stages of the development lifecycle.
• Drive feasibility modelling, investment analysis and commercial decision-making to maximise value and outcomes.
• Develop and execute project strategies that align with organisational goals and community needs.
• Build strong relationships with government agencies, councils, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Lead procurement, tendering and contract management processes across development projects.
• Oversee governance, risk management and compliance to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Champion sustainability, accessibility and best-practice design principles across developments.
• Mentor and develop development professionals while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
