Job summary

Homes NSW—Sydney District is seeking a Housing Operations Manager to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for frontline housing services across Sydney's diverse communities. The role drives performance, supports a high-performing workforce and ensures services meet client needs and outcomes.

Based at Waterloo, Redfern or Strawberry Hills, the position offers hybrid work, a temporary full-time appointment up to two years with potential extension and a salary in the Clerk Grade

Responsibilities

• Lead frontline housing teams to deliver high-quality, customer-focused services.
• Drive operational performance across a dispersed district.
• Lead change initiatives and strategic projects to improve client outcomes and business performance.
• Manage resources, budgets, workforce planning and priorities.
• Build productive relationships with community partners, local stakeholders and government agencies.
• Provide expert advice to Directors and senior management on risks and opportunities.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
