Homes NSW—Sydney District is seeking a Housing Operations Manager to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for frontline housing services across Sydney's diverse communities. The role drives performance, supports a high-performing workforce and ensures services meet client needs and outcomes.
Based at Waterloo, Redfern or Strawberry Hills, the position offers hybrid work, a temporary full-time appointment up to two years with potential extension and a salary in the Clerk Grade
Location - Sydney District - Waterloo, Redfern or Strawberry Hills office locations.
Employment type - Temporary Full Time, up to 2 years with possibility of extension.
Salary – Clerk Grade 11/12, salary range $154,231 - $178,369 pa, plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
Flexible work practices including hybrid working.

Sydney District encompasses a broad range of housing environments, from high-density inner-city communities to established public housing estates, and plays a critical role in delivering quality housing services and support to some of the most vulnerable people in NSW. As Manager Housing Operations, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to frontline service delivery teams, ensuring housing services are responsive, effective and focused on achieving positive outcomes for clients and communities. You will lead the delivery of key operational priorities, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support a high-performing and customer-focused workforce. Working closely with Directors, stakeholders and service partners, you will contribute to the district's strategic direction while fostering a strong culture of collaboration, accountability and service excellence.
